Some of the most famous wreck dives in the Red Sea include:

  • SS Thistlegorm: One of the most famous wrecks in the world, the SS Thistlegorm was a British merchant navy ship that sank during World War II. Resting at a depth of 30 meters, this wreck offers divers the chance to explore its holds, which are still filled with motorcycles, trucks, and military equipment. It is home to an array of marine life, including barracudas, moray eels, and scorpionfish.
  • Abu Nuhas Wrecks: Known as the “Ship Graveyard” of the Red Sea, Abu Nuhas is famous for its concentration of shipwrecks, making it a favorite destination for wreck divers. Located near the northern tip of the Red Sea, Abu Nuhas is home to several wrecks, including the Ghiannis D, Carnatic, Lara, and Kimon M.
